OverviewTwo nights in Gonten, 900 metres up between green hills and the Alpstein. Huus Quell is new, built from Swiss moon-harvested wood, with fabrics by Jakob Schlaepfer and a 2’200 m² spa. In September 2026 it received its first Michelin Key, and GaultMillau names the Appenzeller Huus its Hotel of the Year 2027. Beneath the house lies the largest wine cellar in Switzerland: historic vaults, rare bottles and a tasting room inside a barrel. First class from your station to Gonten, and a dinner is booked. Your companion learns the destination only in Gossau, from the sealed envelope.
